Five Irish higher education institutes awarded €5.5m

Awardees include the Greentown Project to reduce the influence of crime networks on vulnerable children

Five higher education institutions have been awarded €5.5 million in recognition of their outstanding contribution to national strategic priorities and policies. 

The so-called Performance Funding is awarded to institutions in recognition of a range of initiatives targeting socioeconomic issues.
