SFI pledges €6m for public engagement with Irish science

   

Financial boost aims to draw interest among those marginalised from traditional scientific debate

A total of 40 projects have been awarded funding by Science Foundation Ireland to engage with different sections of the public about science.

The projects, which aim to build connections with “less represented voices or those who do not typically engage with Stem”, will share more than €6 million of funding, the funding agency said.
