Irish Research Council awards €24.6m to rising researchers

Winning projects will explore effects of wind-farm noise and ways to improve weather forecasting

The Irish Research Council has awarded a combined €24.6 million in funding to research projects under its flagship Government of Ireland programmes. 

The GoI scheme supports top early career researchers based at Ireland’s higher education and research institutions.
