Minister praises evaluation and evaluators themselves at meeting in Rome

Italy’s research and universities minister has said that regular evaluation exercises are helping to improve the country’s academic and scientific quality.

Anna Maria Bernini (pictured) praised the national assessment that was introduced a decade ago. She told a meeting in Rome on 21 June, perhaps jokingly, that she expects and wants her work at the ministry to be evaluated too, along with the work of the evaluators themselves.
