Universities team up to demonstrate how research can help bring an end to global inequality
A website to measure the extent to which Dutch institutions contribute to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals has been launched by the VSNU association of universities.
The dashboard shows that the 14 universities in the Netherlands contribute through their research to all 17 SDGs. According to developer Maurice Vanderfeesten, innovation manager for research services at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam’s library, the site can be used to demonstrate the societal relevance and impact of research.
