Study shows ways to improve the longevity of startup companies
Innovative startup companies survive longer and typically perform better when they are ‘nursed’ by an incubator facility, a study has shown.
Chris Eveleens, a PhD candidate at Utrecht University, investigated the effectiveness of two Dutch incubators looking after 260 startups for his dissertation on “interfering with innovative entrepreneurship”. He carried out a statistical analysis of the two facilities and a more in-depth study of particular cases.
