Industry coalition wants policy changes and increased spending for faster, less fragmented R&D
Business leaders across the Netherlands have come together to issue a set of recommendations to improve innovation in the country and support the faster implementation of new technology.
The employers’ union VNO-NCW and MKB-Nederland, an organisation representing small and medium-sized businesses, sent a 10-point action plan to parliament on 29 January. Implementing this plan would result in less fragmentation of public investment in research and innovation, and better opportunities for small businesses to adopt technologies, they said.
