Support for public-private partnerships to tackle societal challenges could be expanded
Holland High Tech, an organisation set up to provide funding in the field of high-tech systems and materials—one of the Dutch government’s nine ‘top sectors’ in which it wants to focus its investments—has said that it may consider extra support for promising projects if its latest call is hugely oversubscribed.
The Hitmat call, which closes on 2 June, is intended to bring together high-tech public-private partnerships to tackle societal challenges in five areas: healthcare; security; climate and the circular economy; mobility; and agriculture, water and food.
