Public-private R&D programme would create production chain from agriculture to chemicals and bioplastics
TKI Biobased Economy, a Dutch public-private partnership, is preparing a proposal for an R&D programme on agri-based chemistry, with the hope of winning funding from the National Growth Fund.
The aim of the programme is to implement a value chain that links agricultural products to chemicals and bioplastics. The Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy has confirmed that TKI Biobased Economy is planning to submit a proposal for the programme during the second funding call of the National Growth Fund, which ends this month.
