Government review could boost innovation and competitiveness, say VNO-NCW and MKB Nederland
Two Dutch business organisations, the VNO-NCW and MKB Nederland, have welcomed the government’s plans to revise knowledge transfer, saying it was “of great importance” to local companies.
As part of a general overhaul of science policy, the Dutch government proposes to support and fund more knowledge transfer activities between universities and companies. The VNO-NCW, the Dutch employers’ federation, and MKB Nederland, a union of entrepreneurs, said the plans would make the national economy more competitive and strategic.
