All staff at Dutch universities to get 4% salary rise

Pay increase negotiated by unions includes bonus to benefit workers on minimum wage

Trade unions in the Netherlands and the UNL association of Dutch universities have agreed on a 4 per cent wage increase for all university employees from 1 July 2022.

The increase is part of a negotiation settlement on the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities 2022-23. The agreement will run from 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023 and covers 57,000 staff at universities.
