Foreign minister Wopke Hoekstra does not see Talent Partnerships as solution to skills shortages

The Dutch government has expressed mixed feelings about European Commission proposals to attract talent to the EU.

In a letter to the Dutch parliament, foreign affairs minister Wopke Hoekstra writes that the Commission needs to clarify how the proposal for Talent Partnerships will play out in combination with the EU’s free movement of services and labour.
