Government’s plan conflicts with principles of open science and academic freedom, claims academy
Proposed legislation that would systematically screen researchers from outside of Europe who intend to work in the Netherlands has been attacked by the national science academy.
The current plan lacks detail and would be impractical, KNAW insisted in a position paper on knowledge security, published on 10 October.
