Government support is needed to boost number of Dutch professionals obtaining additional qualifications, report says

The participation rate for professionals in lifelong learning at Dutch universities is low and stagnating, according to a report.

In the report, the UNL association of Dutch universities urged the government to introduce better legal recognition of lifelong learning at universities, defined as professionals entering or returning to higher education to obtain additional qualifications.
