Signatories to landmark agreement on animal testing are improving transparency and access to laboratories

Signatories of the Dutch Transparency Agreement (TA) on Animal Research have met their goals around communication but have struggled to recruit more signatories, an initial report on the agreement has shown.

The report, by Dutch animal testing information foundation Stichting Informatie Dierproeven (SID), covered activities by all signatories to the deal through 2022. As part of the agreement, participating organisations have committed to four promises:
