
More coordinated funding and better management of student numbers would boost Dutch universities, report says
Changes are needed in the Dutch higher education system to safeguard its quality, a report has warned.
The paper, which looks at the future of the university system in the Netherlands up to 2040, was commissioned by the UNL association of universities and produced by an independent working group led by Elmer Sterken, a former rector of the University of Groningen.
