Response to government consultation also includes call to preserve academic freedom

The Swedish Association of University Teachers and Researchers, Sulf, has issued a response to the government’s Governance and Resource Investigation (Strut), which could reform higher education spending.

As part of Strut, the government is asking for ideas on how to improve governance and resource allocation for universities. In its response, Sulf called for more protection for researchers’ jobs as well as closer links between teaching and research.
