Formas: systems analysis can help Swedish policy

Sustainability policy group proposes team of academics and politicians to offer insights into future

The Committee for Applied Systems Analysis, a group created by Swedish sustainability think tank Formas, has urged the government to apply systems analysis more frequently in policymaking.

By using such analysis, provided by academics and experts through independent channels, the government would receive a more holistic perspective when dealing with crisis, the group said.
