Finnish academy publishes national infrastructure strategy

Long-term management and growing data intensity among priorities over next decade

The Academy of Finland has issued the National Strategy for Research Infrastructures 2020-2030, which was developed by the academy’s research infrastructure committee.

According to the academy, the aim is to increase the effectiveness and international appeal of Finnish research through high-quality research infrastructure services. These positive effects are expected to bleed into the education and innovation system, it said.
