Denmark falling behind on international R&D exchanges

Council for Research and Innovation Policy calls for concerted effort to strengthen cross-border knowledge exchanges

The flow of knowledge and research funding in and out of Denmark is surprisingly low relative to comparable countries, according to a new report by the Danish Council for Research and Innovation Policy.

The DFiR report authors’ main concern is the small proportion of R&D investment in Denmark that comes from overseas in the period they studied, 2007-2015.
