Survey shows postdoc students leaving academia over high pressure and low pay

A survey from the Nordic Institute for Studies in Innovation, Research and Education (NIFU), has found that many postdoctoral students prefer industry jobs over academia.

Respondents said that high work pressure, low pay and too few permanent positions made them reluctant to pursue a career as a university researcher in the country.
