Online teaching placing extra burden on Norway’s academics and students, report finds

The Norwegian government has issued an action plan to reopen universities, allowing students to attend campus and access libraries—with infection control measures in place.

Large lectures and gatherings, however, will continue online, as will all scientific and academic events such as conferences, the government announced on 13 April. Nonetheless, all Norwegian students should now be able to attend university at least one day a week, it said.
