Ombudsman slams SDU over professor reprimand

University of Southern Denmark management acted without “sufficient proof” in naked images case, report finds

Denmark’s ombudsman has criticised the University of Southern Denmark, after it reprimanded a professor accused of having accidentally exposed two students to photos showing a naked man.

In its findings, the ombudsman department said that the university had insufficient evidence when issuing its reprimand. According to the ombudsman’s statement, the case began when the professor handed his laptop over to two students in the university’s IT department.
