University reforms ‘could reduce Denmark’s prosperity’

Academics’ group warns that proposed changes must be monitored closely

Akademikerne, an umbrella group representing 28 professional organisations working in the Danish university sector, has raised concerns at the likely impact of government changes to higher education.

It cites forecasts published in the autumn report of the Danish Economic Councils, an independent advisory body commonly referred to as the Sages, or Wise Men.
