Chalmers bans political demonstrations on campus

Technology university in Gothenburg announces move amid concerns over divisive protests about Middle East conflict

Political demonstrations, gatherings and posters are no longer allowed in the campus area of Chalmers University of Technology.

Martin Nilsson Jacobi, president and CEO of Chalmers, and Isabelle Jarl, president of the university’s students union, said the move was necessary safeguard the working environment for 10,000 students and 3,000 employees.
