Research funding ‘must have regional focus’

Long-term investment needed to achieve Nordic Council goals, say ministers

Nordic research and education ministers have urged the Nordic Council to prioritise domestic research funding to achieve the goals set out in Our Vision 2030.

Agreed in 2019 by members of the Nordic Council consisting of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, the Faroe Islands, Greenland and the autonomous Finnish region Åland, Our Vision 2030 is a pledge to ensure the Nordic region becomes the most sustainable and integrated region in the world by 2030.
