Mandate of temporary board installed after last year’s financial turmoil is coming to an end

The Norwegian government has appointed a permanent board to the Forskningsrådet, the country’s research council, which has been run by temporary appointments since last year.

The incoming board will take office on 1 July and will be in the role for four years. Its composition is similar to the temporary board, with most members staying on.
