Investigator is appointed to identify extra measures that may be needed

The Swedish ministry of education has hired an investigator to look into ways that universities and colleges can be more effective in dealing with security issues.

The government of prime minister Ulf Kristersson is currently revising its security policies to cope with the increasing international threats that have emerged in recent years. It is taking measures in several areas but is particularly keen on assessing the resilience of its universities and the competence of their ruling bodies.
