TRI’s green growth aim working, conference hears

The Nordic Council of Ministers’ Top-level Research Initiative is already achieving its aim of creating the conditions for green growth, according to an interim report of the programme’s progress presented at a conference in Oslo on 28 and 29 November.

“The Top-level Research Initiative fits like a glove with the new objectives and priorities that have emerged at national, Nordic, European and global level. Nordic collaboration on research turns ideas and ideals into partnerships that generate tangible results, and will, we hope, also lead to tangible social change,” said Tora Aasland, Norway’s research minister, during the conference.
