Grant results spark gender discussion at Danish research council

Last month the Danish Council for Independent Research (DFF) published the list of grantees under its Sapere Aude career programme for younger elite scientists. Out of 33 award winners only four were women.

The results have caused Jens Christian Djurhuus, the chairman of the DFF, to call for female scientists to be more proactive.
