Ten-year programme launched to boost e-infrastructure

The Nordic countries have teamed up on developing online infrastructure for Nordic research, such as joint databases and computing facilities.

Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland are sponsoring the Nordic e-Infrastructure Collaboration (NeIC), which is coordinated by the pan-Nordic organisation NordForsk.

The programme will receive 12.5 million Norwegian kroner (€1.6m) annually from the countries over the next ten years.
