Swiss National Science Foundation grantees are being encouraged to sign up to the Future and Emerging Technology (FET) flagship projects under Horizon 2020.
The SNSF announced on 12 March that Swiss researchers that receive funds from the foundation can apply to become partnered with the two FET flagships, on brain research and graphene.
The SNSF says that the exact nature of these partnerships is still being negotiated, but will soon be available on the Human Brain Project and Graphene flagship websites. The SNSF’s announcement is part of the Flag-ERA initiative, under which national funding organisations aim to support research that fits with the objectives of the two FET flagships.
