A revamped Swiss research fund is receiving fewer proposals but higher amounts of requested funding, according to the first post-reform data set.
This year the Swiss National Science Foundation received 842 project proposals, which is a 22 per cent decrease from last year. However, the money requested from the fund increased by 6 per cent, the fund reported today.
