Spain’s science pact garners broad support

    

More than 30 organisations back government move to increase R&D funding

Upwards of 30 Spanish organisations representing research, higher education and industry have backed the government’s aims for R&D, according to the country’s science ministry.

On 6 November it said groups—including the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities, the Confederation of Scientific Societies of Spain and the Spanish Association for the Advancement of Science—have lent their support to the government’s Science and Innovation Pact.
