
Country’s government seeks to mobilise about €4.5 billion in investments and establish Spanish Space Agency
The Spanish government is seeking to push Spain towards the front of the global space race by signing off on the creation of a public-private partnership intended to stimulate billions of euros of investment in space-related research and innovation.
The Strategic Project for Aerospace Economic Recovery and Transformation, approved on 22 March, will promote aerospace science and innovation in response to the challenges of climate change, security and digitisation, according to the Spanish science ministry.
