Switzerland repeats funding cover for EU R&D programmes

   

Block on Swiss participation in European programmes also sees country building research collaborations outside EU

The Swiss government has extended stopgap funding in place of EU grants for another year while the country remains outside the bloc’s R&D programmes.

At the same time, Switzerland is looking to bolster its international research links outside the EU, particularly in quantum and space technologies.
