Learning exercise involving 10 countries informed research action plans and infrastructure, report says

An EU initiative to exchange best practice on citizen science has led to significant benefits, according to its activity report.

Citizen science is research that involves members of the public in its design and execution. Over an 18-month period, 10 EU member states took part in a Mutual Learning Exercise on the subject to discuss ways to improve their adoption of the methodology.
