Denmark funds centres of excellence

The Danish National Research Foundation awarded a combined 585 million kroner (€78.5m) towards establishing eleven centres of excellence in its latest grant round.

The centres will house research spanning medieval societies and the effects of health intervention in international courts and astrophysics to quantum devices and permafrost dynamics in Greenland, the foundation announced on 7 October.
