Denmark’s Ministry for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries has set aside 32 million kroner (€4.3m) over two years to develop technology for ecological farming practices, the government said on 5 December.
The investment, which includes 24 million kroner in 2011, is part of a plan to double the number of farmers using eco-friendly practices by 2020, the farming minister, Mette Gjerskov, said in a statement.
