Morten Østergaard, the Danish science minister, met with the EU committee for industry, research and energy (ITRE) on 25 November to discuss Denmark taking over the presidency of the EU next year.
The dialogue aimed to ensure that negotiations on the future of the EU’s research funding programme, Horizon 2020, will run smoothly during the Danish chairmanship, the statement said.
