Novo Nordisk researcher takes leave as Penkowa work is investigated

Bente Klarlund Pedersen, a Danish psychologist, has taken temporary leave from her work with the Novo Nordisk Foundation while articles she wrote with disgraced neuroscientist Milena Penkowa are investigated for fraud, reports Politiken.

“Bente Klarlund Pedersen agrees that her work with the Novo Nordisk Foundation should cease until her case is finalised,” the Novo Nordisk Foundation announced on their website. Penkowa stepped down from her post at the University of Copenhagen in December last year.
