Kim Dam-Johansen, head of the Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark, has been awarded the title of Einstein professor by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the university announced on 11 August. Dam-Johansen was honoured for his role in the implementation of sustainable energy resources at power plants and in industrial processes.
He was also awarded an honorary professorship with the Institute of Process Engineering in Beijing.
