Lars Ole Sauerberg, a professor of literature from The University of Southern Denmark, has joined the Committee on Publication Ethics, the university said on 15 August.
COPE offers advice to editors and publishers on publication ethics as well as how to handle cases of research and publication misconduct. It also provides a forum for its members to discuss individual cases although the committee does not get involved in specific cases.
