Deportation threat lifted from India-born researcher

Bipjeet Kaur, an IT engineer of Indian descent threatened with deportation from Denmark has now been told she can stay in the country while her case is being reviewed.

Kaur’s case has caused concern to colleagues and with The Confederation of Danish Industry and opposition political parties, who have argued that Kaur’s expertise is important for the country to hold on to.
