Denmark’s universities should create a strategy for nurturing their best students, the science minister said on 9 August.
Charlotte Sahl-Madsen said not enough is done for the country’s most talented students. She suggests mentor schemes, exchanges with internationally acclaimed universities and possibilities for students to participate in research projects. Another suggestion is to create so-called ‘talent plans’ for each student.
“I don’t want to dictate how this is done, but I’m convinced that it must be prioritised more than it is now”, the minister said in a statement.
