Danish export to the United States has tripled over the last 15 years, and 10 per cent of Denmark’s combined export of energy and environmental technology has ended up in American markets, the Confederation of Danish Industry (DI) reported on 22 September.
Danish export of clean tech over the 15 years came to 85 billion kroner (€11.4bn), DI said in a report. The US government’s ambitions regarding renewable energy means that there is potential for further trade in green technologies between the two countries, DI adds.
