Industry blasts government budget proposal for cutting research

The Danish Confederation of Industry (DI) has slammed the centre-right government’s proposal to cut several hundred million kroner in funding for research on next year’s state budget.

The cuts are supposed to pay for growing expenses for higher education, including a higher intake of students at university. But to take the money from research is wrong, DI said on 26 August.
