Academic freedom of speech at Aathus University will come under review from the Parliamentary Ombudsman, Jørgen Steen Sørensen. The decision came after the university issued a warning to professor Linda Maria Kaldau, chair Chair of Music and Cultural Studies for criticising the institution in the media.
In June last year, Kaldau published a piece in national newspaper Politiken, criticising what she called “the top-down educational strategy” at Aarhus University’s faculty of humanities.
