Danish vice-chancellors slam tax reform

A proposal that would remove tax exemptions from travel costs incurred by PhD students has been criticised by Danish vice-chancellors.

The plans, published in June, would remove the tax cuts currently available for Danes working abroad for longer than six months. The government hopes the proposal will increase its tax revenues by several hundred million kroner.
