Novo Nordisk donates 200m for diabetes centre

The Danish Novo Nordisk Foundation has granted over 200 million kroner (€26.9m) to establish a national diabetes research and teaching hub in Odense, Southern Denmark.

The Danish Diabetes Academy is the first of its kind in Denmark and will house approximately 300 researchers over the next 5 years, the foundation said on 17 August. The total budget is 375m kroner over the period.
